You can see from the photos above that the staple length is all of three inches and the fiber is an elegant to the touch. Makes great bats or rologs to spin from. Some people spin without carding it, right from the bunch. We have black, brown and white.

Due to space limitations, a mix of four Sheep, a Llama, three Donkeys, two Suri's and three Hauycaya alpacas, we need to thin our herd by two. We have decided to make the two male Suri alpacas available to a good home. They are great fiber animals...one being white and one chestnut brown. They produce great locks with good staple length each year and spin beautifully. Anyone interested in taking them, just email cluckinafarm@aol.com and we'll make arrangements for you to pick them up here. The white alpaca's name is Slugger and the Chestnut Brown is Phoenix.
